I don't care what anyone says, I like Favre and I'm on his side. I cannot believe the hate on the news, especially from the "Oh I loved Brett Favre, now he can just go!" people. It's like WTF - talk about running extremely hot and then dropping it to frigid. Some people are so fickle.

Anyway, I'm really sad to see him go but best of luck and I hope he kicks ass on the other team and proves just how great he really is! It'll be interesting to see how we play now with this rookie QB. He has big shoes to fill and if he sucks this season, he'll never live this down, the Packers will never live this down. We play the Bucs in week 4 and it'll be interesting to see how that game goes. If the Bucs kick our ass, it'll all go down hill from there.

Last night on ESPN, one of the guy's said that if this were another huge name QB who decided to leave and then said, you know, I want to come back and is told to be a back-up QB and not the starting QB, everyone would be pissed off at the team, the GM, etc... for even having the balls to say that to the QB.

Now just wait and see, we'll have a curse on us!
